God will never send you somewhere that He cannot keep you!

Several years ago a very slim fellow walked into my place of employment and came right up to me and said “ Young man! I am holding a revival at your dad’s church, I would love for you to come one night! “ He turned and left and did not give me time to respond. I ended up going one night. I was dealing with addictions and alcoholism and numb to it all, but I listened. And sometime later found myself pouring it all out at an altar and picking up the banner that I carry today.

This man is a great man of God. He pastored a local church for many years, then went into the prison ministry and has made an eternal impact on so many lives. But I would look at this man and think “ How does he go into prison and preach like he does without getting killed? “ If you have heard him preach you would understand why I would think that.I did not realize that God would call me to do the same thing just a couple of years later.

I have observed as this world has been gripped with fear these past few years. And some are struggling to serve God in different capacities with great hesitance. But I want to encourage you today that “ God will never send you somewhere that He cannot keep you.” Speaking from personal experience as long as I have kept my eyes on Jesus I have never gone on mission, or call, with a spirit of fear. From working a street mission or being in maximum security federal prison with the inmates with no protection.

We all as believers have been called, some in different capacities. Some with a greater risk of harm and other calls not so much. But there is a date with death for us all, regardless of class, location and or occupation. This eternal date with destiny’s clock started the moment we were born. And sometimes we must place the eternal over the current. Someone’s salvation can very well depend upon your being at the place you were called to be, standing as a soldier at the gate.

God knows what you are and are not capable of and He will never give you a task that He knows you cannot do. So If you have a calling, vision or an opportunity in your heart as a burden…….God will finish through you this great work! Be of great courage, resist the fear and place your hope in the promise of Jesus Christ and go be a soul winner!

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.-Isaiah 41-10

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.-Deuteronomy 31:6

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.-Romans 8:38-39
